A Celebration of a Unique Partnership
On Friday 29 September, Stirling District Tourism Ltd. and The Church of the Holy Rude hosted a celebration of our groundbreaking partnership.
Together, we aim to establish a lasting legacy of exceptional visitor experiences, while contributing to the Church’s long-term sustainability and preserving its identity as an iconic place of worship for generations to come.
On arrival, guests were welcomed by Tracey Macintosh, Stirling District Tourism’s General Manager.
Guests heard from David Black (SDT Chair), Susan Ross (SDT Vice-Chair and project lead), and Ritchie King (Church elder), who talked about the history of both organisations and explained how the partnership agreement was developed.

Guests were entertained by pianist Keiko McAlpine; James Douglas and Holly James from The Rubber Chicken Theatre Company, who performed songs from their new production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame; and Ian Bouler, the Church’s Director of Music.
